1. Acceptance

By downloading or using PrivyClean (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App

PrivyClean is a native application for iPhone and Mac that inspects and removes metadata from photos and documents. All processing occurs entirely on your device. No files are transmitted to any server as part of the core cleaning workflow.

3. Purchases

PrivyClean is available as a one-time in-app purchase distributed through the Apple App Store. Pricing is set at the time of purchase and subject to change. There is no subscription. Purchases are subject to Apple's standard refund and billing policies. The App includes 3 free file cleans to allow you to evaluate the product before purchasing.

4. Permitted use

You may use PrivyClean to inspect and clean metadata from files you own or have lawful authority to modify. You may not use the App to assist in deception, fraud, evasion of legal obligations, or any activity that violates applicable law or third-party terms of service.

The App is a tool for visibility and control over your own file metadata. You are responsible for understanding any disclosure obligations that apply to your content, including those arising from platform policies, employment agreements, or applicable law.

5. Disclaimer

The App and the content on this website are provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. PrivyClean does not guarantee that removing metadata will achieve any specific legal, regulatory, or platform compliance outcome. The behaviour of third-party platforms regarding metadata detection is outside our control and may change at any time.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wiktor Borys Tendera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

8. Intellectual property

PrivyClean, its name, logo, and all content on this website are the property of Wiktor Borys Tendera. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland.
